Ban bocor di tempat yang tak jauh dari bengkel sudah menjadi lumrah di Indonesia. Orang Indonesia telah menganggap hal tersebut bagian dari akal-akalan pebengkel. Namun, jika hal seperti itu juga terjadi di negara yang ekonominya maju seperti Korea Selatan kiranya tidak akan dianggap lumrah.
Penyebabnya apalagi kalau bukan kesenjangan sosial. Disini film sebagai karya seni kontemporer turut andil membuka jendela untuk melihat dan memahami realitas yang terjadi ruang dan waktu, karena film memiliki dualisme sebagai refleksi dan representasi realitas bahkan dapat membentuk definisi realitas sosial.
Mungkin dipikiran kita saat mendengar ‘film Korea’ adalah aktor-aktornya yang keren, genre dramanya yang selalu membuat baper dan cara mereka menuturkan komedi secara berbeda. Tetapi, tentu saja ada yang istimewa dari film korea.
Dalam rilis film korea yang memiliki genre komedi dan kejahatan “Nailed” (2019), tesingkap berbagai keistimewaan salah satunya adalah menghadirkan problema dalam keluarga yang dikemas dalam cara yang unik.
Nailed merupakan debut pertama Ha Yoon-jae sebagai sutradara, yang mengisahkan kehidupan sepasang suami-istri (Jae Goo- Soon Yeong ) dengan banyak masalah. Mereka menjalankan bengkel mobil di pinggir jalan di sebuah kota kecil, tetapi penghasilan menurun secara signifikan sejak proyek pembangunan perumahan di dekatnya telah memebanjiri area itu dengan truk, yang mengarahkan pengemudi lain menggunakan rute alternatif.
Nasib pasangan itu mulai berubah, ketika sebuah mobil yang lewat menabrak paku yang jatuh dari salah satu truk kontruksi, berkahir di bengkel Jae Goo yang dengan cepat menghasilkan pengisian yang berlebihan pada kliennya. Setelah itu, ia mendapat ide untuk menyebarkan jalan dengan paku, dan pekerjaan mulai mekar, lebih dari sebelumnya. Ia pun membujuk Soon-Yeong untuk turut dalam praktik, supaya dapat membeli rumah yang sedang mereka kontrak dan memperluas bisnis bengkel mereka.
Dari kasus paku ini drama-drama sosial, komedi, dan kejahatan dimulai.
Drama kesenjangan
Ada realita menarik yang ditulis Meicky S. Pangabean dalam buku biografi “Ahok: Politik Akal Sehat” yang menurut saya relevan untuk menjadi prolog drama kesenjangan dan eksploitasi.
“jika ada mobil Mercedes seharga 3 miliar menabrak tukang bakso yang sedang lewat, bisa dipastikan warga serta-merta akan menyalahkan si pengemudi mobil. Padahal siapa tahu mobil sudah berlari dalam kecepatan wajar dan dikendarai pada jalur yang benar? Mungkin saja tukang bakso mendorong gerobaknya dengan cara melawan arah dan tak lama sebelum berjualan dia menenggak bir opolosan?”
Nailed menjadi bagian dari kisah kelas bawah yang tidak akan mudah disalahkan kelas atas.
Saat paku pertama berhasil memperoleh korban, Jae Goo tidak segan memberi harga tinggi pada korban yang merupakan pengawas proyek pembangunan perumahan yang tak jauh dari tempat ia tinggal. Adu mulut pun terjadi, karena Jae Goo mengganti dua ban mobil milik pengawas tersebut. Tetapi Jae Goo tetap menang dengan dalih alasan yang sesuai ia rencanakan. Akhirnya, pemerasan pertama berhasil.
Strategi pemerasan seperti itu hampir ia lakukan kepada semua korban tanpa melihat latar belakang, memang sejak ada proyek jalan tempat ia tinggal hanya dilewati mobil yang pasti berduit dan berpangkat.
Soon Yeong sebagai tokoh protagonis kedua masih berempati saat korban sudah lansia dan harus sering check ke rumah sakit, tetapi Jae Goo tetap pada motiasinya, segera membeli kontrakan dan memperbesar bisnisnya.
Ha Yoon-jae membuat titik menyoroti fakta bahwa kedua protagonis sebenarnya orang baik, meskipun tindakan mereka memeras, sementara korban mereka adalah orang-orang yang pantas ditipu, karena mereka kaya, korup atau bahkan keduanya. Pendekatan ini mungkin agak naif, tetapi pada akhirnya melayani tujuannya, terutama mengenai hiburan yang ditawarkannya, sementara konsep orang miskin yang menjadi korban keadaan mereka disajikan dengan cukup baik.

Sejak awal penonton tak akan menemukan keluarga besar mereka, hal ini karena keluarga Soon Yeong tidak mendukung pernikahan mereka sejak awal dan menaruh dendam pada Jae Goo.
Jae Goo tidak hanya dibenci keluarga Soon Yeong, seorang pemimpin asosiasi toko lokal yang masih memendam rasa pada Soon Yeong turut membenci Jae Goo, Mr. Mun panggilannya. Mr. Mun menjadi satu-satunya orang yang mengetahui tindakan eksploitatif keluarga Jae Goo. Ia mengetahui apa yang menyebabkan bisnis mereka lancar, Mr. Mun tahu yang dilakukan jae Goo dan Soon Yeong pada malam hari di sepanjang jalan dekat mereka tinggal.
Mr. Mun sebagai pemendam rasa memanfaatkan momen untuk mendekati Soon Yeong, supaya rahasia keluarga mereka tidak menyebar, Mun menghubungi Soon Yeong lalu mengharuskan Yeong mau melayaninya saat Mun sedang rindu sebagai syarat supaya rahasia tetap terjaga.
Yang mengeksploitasi akan dieksploitasi begitulah Nailed berkomunikasi, yang dalam istilah populer kita terkenal dengan “senjata makan tuan”.
